Day 6 – Bloodwork, Ultrasound, Lupron, Menopur, Follistim & Dexamethasone

I did blood work this morning to test my estradiol levels. I also had an ultrasound, which showed some of the follicles responding to the meds. There were a couple of the right that were at 5cm and 6cm. On the left side of the ovary there were a couple of smaller ones at 3cm and 4cm. Each follicle usually grows 2cm every evening. The blood results showed my estradiol levels are at 51%. So the percentage is right on track for the number of days I have been on the meds.
My next ultrasound and blood work is on Saturday, August 11, 2012. The doctor was estimating a possible egg retrieval on Thursday, Friday or Saturday of next week.
