Consultation With RMA – Dr Hudson

We had a consultation appointment with Dr Hudson about our past two IVF cycles. In a nut shell based on my past two cycles she does not feel the third one will results in more eggs.
The first cycle I had five follicles with 4 eggs retrieved. Only three where fertilized and only one made it to day 5. This is the one that came back with Trisomony 9.
The second cycle I had 4 follicles with 3 eggs retrieved. Only two were fertilized and both made it to day 3. Those two embryos were transferred but did not take. I ended up with a negative pregnancy result.
Dr Hudson suggested I take DHEA three times a day, which is a total of 75mg. In addition I should start acupuncture. It has been shown that acupuncture aligns your spirit, blood flow and relieves stress.
Her recommendation for a third cycle will be to use the estrogen priming protocol, since I had the most results the first time with that protocol.
Next week we have an appointment with Texas Fertility Center.
