I started the Lupron injections today.  I am taking 10 units in the AM and 10 units in the PM.  The needle for the Lupron is skinnier than the other injections.  It is 28 1/2 thin, which is good.  Below is a re-cap of what the Lupron is used for

Lupron (leuprolide acetate, a GnRH Agonist)

• as the trigger injection prior to egg retrieval to reduce the risk of hyperstimulation
• as part of the “flare” protocol to help women who respond poorly to fertility medications.
• suppression of the pituitary to prevent ovulation
