Day 19 – Day After Embryo Transfer

I could not sleep at all last night. I woke up three times in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. I have never had to get up and go pee so many times in one night. I was still crampy and decided to work from home to keep the stress level low.
Lisa was kind of enough to take me to the Renaissance Women’s Group to get the Counsyl (https://www.counsyl.com) test kit. It was very nice being dropped off in front so I could minimize my walking. I consulted with a nurse and received the kit. Pete will need to go back and get his kit because a release form needs to be signed. I asked the nurse if a bladder catheter could make me feel like I need to use the bathroom often. She stated yes as the catheter makes the bladder spasm, so that is why I was up so much last night.
We went directly up to CPL to do the blood work for the kit. The line was not long at all so it was worth the wait. Not much yet to report. I took the doxycycline, prednisone and the progesterone shot.
