Day 7 Shots – Menopur & Follistim

OMG thank goodness Pete was home tonight to give me my nightly shots. After screwing up my inner thigh last night I was nervous again about the shots. Pete suggested continuing on with giving the shots in the stomach. There is more fat in the stomach area than the inner thigh.
So we proceeded with preparing the syringes, icing the stomach area and giving the shots. Pete was right the stomach area was better than the inner thigh, way less burning.
I am also very anxious about the ultrasound tomorrow. I will find out if the follicles are growing. If everything shows okay on the scan then I should find out when to take the trigger shot, which starts ovulation. Once the trigger shot is given 34 hours after I go in for my egg retrieval.
