Day 6 Shots – Menopur & Follistim

Tonight I gave the two shots to myself. I prepped the syringes, iced my inner thigh and breathed deeply. the first shot of menoopur was not to bad. The stinging sensation was different, I guess I am not use to that feeling in my thigh. I then gave myself the follistim shot. This one is easier since it is a cartridge type pen.
When I removed the shot cartridge I pulled it out crooked. Well that hurt like heck and made me bleed more than expected. Based on the angle of my thigh I did not realize I was pulling it out crooked. Uuuuuuugh!!!
Well this will be the only night I will need to give the shots to myself. I received the estradiol blood work results back today. The estradiol number now is 158, which means the medicine is working the way it should.
